THE CT LIFT ( Customized INVISILIFT®)
The INVISILIFT® is a very popular procedure because it is minimally invasive, it has minimal down time and it produces very natural results. Because not all thread lifts are born equal, this procedure is customized to each patient that requires it. Typical lifts go from the eyes to the cheek or neck, running under the skin of the face and being very difficult to reverse or remove. The lifts go from the eyes to the cheekbones or the neck and are used to hold your muscles, lift your structures and reposition your facial structures for a more youthful appearance. The lift needs to be followed immediately by a tightening treatment because what keeps the structure in the right position is not the Invisil itself but tightening the skin.

THE TIGHTENING
Tightening of the skin can be performed in several ways. Dr. De Souza prefers the use of ThermaCool, a machine that uses radiofrequency to lift the skin in high energy levels to conform contraction of the collagen fibers and remodeling of the collagen fibers under our skin. He compares this process to that of washing a pair of jeans. When you dry jeans, they shrink from the heat because the organic fiber called cotton contracts in response to the heat. Collagen is the organic fiber in our bodies that responds the same way when heated. The process, called Thermage, can be used on other parts of the body, including the arms, legs, belly, buttocks and thighs.

SKIN REJUVENATION
After the lift and tightening, the final step is skin restoration, which is done in two stages and which Dr. De Souza compares to remodeling the kitchen cabinets. You cannot hang new cabinets until the old ones come down. Similarly, you cannot bring out new skin unless you remove the old, dead skin on the top layer. He uses several types of lasers, lasers for brown spots, spider veins and even excess of undesirable hair, skin tags and also chemical peels and other procedures that destroy and remove the old. To build the new, we use skin products to repair skin lines such as Obagi skin care line and Seda skin care line. Seda, developed in West Virginia, is the first cosmetic line to come from the state. Both lines of products give significant improvement of the skin condition. Other products can be associated such as hydroquinone, Retin A and multiple types of vitamins and topical antioxidants can be used to assist on the repair of the skin.

SKIN REPAIR and RESTORATION

The skin repair restoration is done in two stages in approximately 6 to 12 weeks. We believe it is similar to restoration or repair of a house or kitchen for example where we remove the old before you bring the new. If you only remove the old and do not bring the new, you will hot obtain good results. We believe that restoration of the skin only can be obtained if you use techniques to destroy and remove the damaged part of the skin and bring other products to nourish and repair your skin and to build the new skin.

This repair can be obtained at any age and the results are significant not only for the health of the skin but as well for the cosmetic point of view. INVISILIFT

The INVISILIFT® has become a very popular procedure because it is minimally invasive and it has minimal down time and produces very natural results. There are several types of Invisible Lifts and not all Invisible Lifts are borne equal. The INVISILIFT® is also not a new treatment. It is fairly new in America today but has been performed in Russia and Brazil for several decades. The first INVISILIFT® was started in Russia and several techniques were developed in Brazil. Finally, now in America, we have several treatments, the most famous one being the Contour Lift which is small threads with small fissure hooks that go through your skin and lift your entire face. Although it has become very popular, we believe those threads are not our favorite. We believe that the threads that avoid going through your face are better. We have developed our one Invisilift which is a mixture of techniques that had been developed first in Russia and then in Brazil and similar to some of those produced in America. The difference in our INVISILIFT® is that we use a much thicker thread that we believe lasts much longer and our thread is also being used in a much customized way. The same way that no one ages the same and we do not feel the lift should be done the same for every one. We customize our lift and every patient has a different lift. The lifts go from the areas of the eye or the cheek bone or even from the neck. Those lifts are performed with a small needle thread that goes through the skin and higher under your skin to hold your muscles, lift your structures and reposition your facial structures to give a youthful and better appearance. Therefore, we believe our INVISILIFT® program is unique and specific and that is why we call it the CT lift which is a customized INVISILIFT®. For each patient we develop a different position and different program. The advantage of our INVISILIFT® is noninvasive and minimal. The area of thread is very limited and there is no need for IV sedation. Everything is performed under local anesthesia. There are small stitches but no incisions or resections of skin and the thread is much thicker and stronger. We believe this has the potential to last longer. We also believe that the lift should never be performed alone. The lift needs to be followed immediately by a tightening treatment because we believe what keeps the structure in the right position is not the Invisilift itself but tightening the skin and the soft tissues in a different position is what will give the best appearance. Therefore, we believe that the INVISILIFT®, although will live permanently under your skin, is temporary. If there is any need for removal, it can be removed after three months without compromise to the cosmetic results. This is another advantage because in case of complications which are very rare but possible such as infection or broken stitch, you can still keep most of your cosmetic results.
